The universal prohibition against cross-mating of animals applies to causing the copulation of ANY male and female of two difference species.
It does not matter whether it is a land animal, sea animal, reptile, bird or amphibian. Nor does it matter whether it is a wild animal and/or a domestic animal. Whether the animal is your own or someone else's.
