Oh My G*.. What should I Do!

Divine Code for October 6, 2022

Today: Page 215

Topic 2:4 -- 2:6

Abraham taught the nations that it is proper to praise and bless only G-d's Name.

Let us thank Him for all that we receive and praise Him for all that we succeed in doing.

It is important that when we want to praise or thank Him, we direct our thoughts and words so that we express words of thanks and praise to honour G-d's Name.

When we do it mindlessly, there is a chance that we may use G-d's name in Vain and thereby use it in a disrespectful manner.

We are seriously warned to beware of this. In Exodus 20:7 it is written:

"You shall not take the Name of G-d in Vain; G-d will NOT hold guitless one who takes His Name in vain".

We are only human and sometimes the word "G-d" * slips out of our mouths without us wanting to do so. It is important to make a blessing or thanksgiving out of it right away, for example: "Blesses is He forever."
