Hashem Heals all Broken Hearted

*Trigger warning*

A poem about a child who experienced abuse and is healing from it.

You went under the covers,

You had to hide your face and wonder.

When will he come in to hurt me?

Will this stop?

Do I deserve it?

She cried and prayed, but many nights, it felt like G-d wasn't here to stay.

Hashem, how could you leave me with this father who abuses me?

What have I done? I've felt lost and hopeless for many years.

Will there ever be an end to this somehow?

If this is it, take me now.

I see you,

I love you,

My little child that suffered.

You are not worthless,

You do matter,

You are good because God planned you.

He was there holding you,

Giving you strength to fight and molding you.

Your painful journey had a purpose.

To tell it today and help some is worth it.

God knows what you can handle, he chose you for battle.

What an amazing creator,

He breathed a breath of life into you, always remember.

He wiped your tears,

He tucked you in,

He saved you from the dangers you were in.

Thank you Hashem for this journey,

You are always with me.

My little child, we’re working on your healing.

Trust this process, it’s just the beginning.

You are all that God says you are.

He is your Father who’s here to fill the voids inside.

Together, we will hold you and give you the love your earthly parents were supposed to.

So smile, you are here

And all that you are is heaven built.
