Guard the Gates of Your Body
“You shall appoint for yourselves judges and officers of law within all of your gates…” (Deuteronomy 16:18).
There is also a message here for each individual, according to Rabbi Isaiah HaLevi Horowitz. We each have seven ‘gates’ where we interface with the world. We need to ensure that what we take in through our eyes, ears, nostrils and mouth are appropriate and untainted.
