Does G-d Always Keep His Promises?
For September 12, 2022
Deuteronomy 26:15
"Look down from Your dwelling, from the heavens, and bless Your people Israel, and the ground which You have given to us (to Israel) as You swore to our forefathers a land flowing with milk and honey"
G-d promised that if the people keep the commandments G-d gave them, they will prosper in the land. The rain would come in due time, the harvests would be successful, and the people would be blessed with children, happiness and prosperity.
G-d's promises are always fulfilled, for He is not a man that He would lie. ( Num. 23:19)
And just as He had promised the forefathers that their descendants would come into the land of milk and honey, so it happened. So it will be with all other promises that G-d makes.
G-d promised that when people doing good deeds, and life by the Noahide Commandments - even if one does so only out of one's own logic- they will be rewarded in this life, or in his afterlife after the eind of his physical life, or both. But he has not earned a part in the ultimate spiritual reward of the future eternal World to Come.
G-d promised that all people who carefully observe the 7 Noahides Laws - and their details - and comply with them will receive a share in the world to come.
Laws of Kings 8:11:
"Anyone who accepts upon himself and carefully observes the Seven Commandments is of the Righteous of the Nations of the World and has a portion in the World to Come. This is as long as he accepts and performs them because (he truly believes that) it was the Holy One, Blessed Be He, Who commanded them in the Torah, and that is was through Moses our Teacher we were informed that the Sons of Noah had already been commanded to observe them. But if he observes them because he convinced himself logically [By his own intellect and conscience, but he does not agree that they were commanded by G-d.], then he is not considered a Resident Convert and is not of the Righteous of the Nations of the World, but merely one of their wise."
Sometimes it feels like you have to wait a long time for this promise.
Sometimes it feels frightening: will G-d keep His word?
After all, who can say for sure or know what will come after this life.
But when we see that G-d has kept all His promises to Israel, then we know for sure that He will do the same to us.

But he who sows righteousness has a true reward."
