Topic 2:7 -- topic 2:9
A false prophet is:
Someone who lies and says that G-d has said something to him and has not.
Someone who lies in the message he has been given.
Someone who passes on a true message in his own name, when it was the prophecy given to someone else.
You can recognize a false prophet when a good prophecy does not come true.
A false prophet who prophesies in the name of G-d is punished by the Hand of Heaven.
