Genesis 44:32
כִּ֤י עַבְדְּךָ֙ עָרַ֣ב אֶת־הַנַּ֔עַר מֵעִ֥ם אָבִ֖י לֵאמֹ֑ר אִם־לֹ֤א אֲבִיאֶ֙נּוּ֙ אֵלֶ֔יךָ וְחָטָ֥אתִי לְאָבִ֖י כׇּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃
"If you ask why I, the fourth-oldest son, am the spokesman rather than one of my older brothers, the reason is because I, your servant—in order to convince my father to let Benjamin accompany us—guaranteed to return the lad to my father, saying, 'If I do not bring him back to you, I will have sinned against my father and will forfeit the privilege of associating with him for all the rest of my lifetime, both in this world as well as in the afterlife."
Judah appointed to Joseph the consequences he would experience in this world and in the world to come. He named both worlds because he did not know whether Joseph would believe in consequences in the world to come at all.
That is what we see today among people who do not believe. That they will experience the consequences of their actions in this world they still want to believe (sometimes), but since life ends after death, they do not worry about further consequences of their actions.
We know that pious Noahides will inherit their share in the world to come, earning spiritual pleasure and participating in the spiritual good that Hashem wants to give them by committing to the spiritual life from G-d. This means that one should also be aware of possible negative consequences of gentiles deliberately violating the 7 Noahides Laws. When people deliberately violate any of the specific 7 Noahide Commandments, or deliberately reject the tenets of acceptance of the One G-d and the Torah of Moses, or bring sin or fear upon large numbers of people, they disconnect themselves from this spiritual life source, rendering their souls incapable of continuing to exist in the World to Come.
