Can Miracles Happen Within Nature?
Just recently 1,100 rockets have been launched on Israel's territory, but thanks to G-d, there are no casualties. About 20 percent of the rockets landed in enemy territory!
These rockets caused many losses to the enemies of the people of Israel. These are certainly miracles that show the depth of divine supervision over the Land of Israel. In the weekly portion (Deuteronomy 11:25) it is said that Israel is a land that G-d protects miraculously.
A miracle that comes through nature is a higher miracle than a supernatural miracle, and this is because the spiritual root of a miracle that comes through nature is higher, and it derives directly from the power of the Creator who is able to unite two opposite things -- miracle and nature.
The first commandment of Bnei Noah is the recognition that there is a single Creator of the world that is taking care of each and every one of us and fulfills his promises as given in the Torah.
The recognition of the divine supervision that surrounds us is part of the commandments given to Noahides and is able to strengthen our faith in the fulfillment of the divine promises to those who keep the seven commandments.
