I tried several times to donate money to the Kippa action but the system won't let me, it says that my country (new zealand) is not supported. It seems odd to me since PayPal is quite common here. Any suggestions?

You could contact Rabbi Perets at the Noahide Academy and ask if there is an alternative payment method to PayPal.
