Noahide Fellowship

According to Maimonides in "Mishneh Torah, Foundations of the Torah, Chapter 7," prophecy is a highly exclusive gift from God, reserved for those who are not only wise and strong in character but also have mastered their natural inclinations through intellect. A potential prophet must be in good physical health and deeply immersed in sublime and lofty concepts. With the necessary mental capacity to understand and grasp these concepts, such an individual becomes sanctified.

This person must detach themselves from mundane concerns, focusing instead on higher spiritual truths and the wisdom of God, spanning from the highest spiritual forms to the center of the earth, thereby recognizing the greatness of God. Following these preparations, the divine spirit will rest upon him.

Once the divine spirit descends, his soul mixes with the angels known as 'ishim,' transforming him into a different person with a new kind of knowledge. This elevates him above other wise men, illustrating the transformation that occurs with the reception of prophecy, as seen in the example of Saul in the scriptures.

I know there are for sure verses from scripture, Rabbi Weiner in his book Divine Code is mentioning this, but indeed I noticed that a few things were stated as fact but without references.
