If you don't mind, I wanted to ask a question regarding the covering of the head with a kippah (head covering) or a hat.

A kippah, also known in Yiddish as a yarmulke, is a skullcap worn as a sign of respect and reverence for God.

The covering of the head is meant as a constant reminder that there is a power higher than human reason or understanding.
